We work according to AMI standard - what does it mean?
We believe that the AMI standard is the most accurate standard in Montessori education all around the world for two particular reasons. Firstly, the AMI has a clear structure of education and very strict approach, which requires the maximum concentration of students to obtain an AMI diploma. Secondly, the Association Montessori Internationale is governed by an international board of trainers, who have been working in Montessori classes with children for more than 10 years, gaining experience and knowledge.
The Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) was founded by Maria Montessori in 1929 during the World Conference on New Education Fellowship, to maintain the integrity of Maria Montessori life's work.

In a number of countries the Montessori Method is at the core of state education system design. Teacher training centers are installed on 5 continents, all moved by the same goal of ensuring the same standards of work with children between the ages of 0 and 18 years.

AMI now operates through its affiliates in nearly 20 countries worldwide, including Russia (since 2010).

The objectives of the Association are to uphold, propagate and further the pedagogical principles and practice formulated by Dr. Maria Montessori for the full development of the human being. The Association aims to establish these objectives by all lawful means.
