        Important things about our school
Let us tell you why MSM is unique and introduce you to the Montessori Method
        1
Bilingual approach. In all of our programs we use English and Russian languages. This makes the process of learning the language natural and comfortable for a child.
        2
AMI Standard. This means that our Lead Teachers are qualified professionals in the Montessori education field.
In order to work with your child, the teacher learns for 2-3 years and does practical training in other schools. This guarantees qualified and serious approach to the child's education.
        3
We are 12 years old. We were the first in Moscow who began to work according to the international standards and cooperated with colleagues abroad.
        4
Seminars for parents. For example, we tell parents how to develop child's interest for Math and how such interest can be revealed in later years.

        5
Safety. A fire alarm in every room, staff trainings with first responders and regular evacuation trainings with the children. We are extremely serious about this.
        6
Embassies. We are proud that we have provided services for the Embassies of Denmark, Sweden, Australia, Italy and others.
        Our Families' Histories
During the time that our children spent in MSM we've noticed extreme achievements in their development in this very important period in their lives.
        Jens and Louise Harpot
        Our graduates' parents from Denmark
Today we feel really proud when people admire our children's behavior, how independent and hard-working they are. I do not know any other school in Moscow that could give them a better foundation for the future life.
        Sona Lasikova
        MSM graduates' mother
This is the school for those who know what their growing child needs. For the parents, who want their children to be happy, curious, independent.
        Tijana Vucak
Mother of Helena and Sofia Kaljevic
Our family is from Greece where mechanic memorizing as the method of education is normal. We were pleasantly surprised when we discovered in Moscow the cozy oasis of quietness for our children.
        Sofia Georgakopoulou
Mother of MSM graduates' from Greece
MSM teachers helped me a lot with their knowledge and experience. They were always positive and attentive. This became the beginning of my deep understanding of the Montessori method.
        Svetlana Makeeva
The mother of our student from the bilingual family
What is the difference between the "development clubs" and a Montessori School?

"Development clubs" cannot provide a systemic environment and do not have continuity of different stages in education. A child in a Montessori school moves from one environment to another, retains and increases the acquired skills.

The school is focused on the development of the child as an ongoing process. Clubs have a fragmented approach. They solve short-term and local problems. The school works with the family as a whole. We support parents in developing their competencies and skills to ensure the natural development of the child at home.
Why Montessori toys cannot substitute the class at school?
A child learns a lot by observing other people. In a Montessori class, he receives individual attention and support from a specially trained adult. In an environment of a Montessori class the child has the freedom to develop at his own pace while following the rules. He learns a lot about himself and his abilities, independently performing certain actions. All of this supports the child's natural desire to learn.

The classroom is a conducive environment for developing relationships with other people. Here the child gains real skills and experience of how to cope with certain difficulties, go through conflicts and make friends. Everything that the child has learned in the class, he can later apply in life.
Many parents rejoice in how the child becomes independent in everyday life and is able to communicate clearly and effectively. Attending Montessori school has a positive impact on the quality of life for the whole family.
How does learning how to use the toilet in Toddler classroom lay the foundation for human ability to solve complex problems in the future?
The Toddler Program emphasizes self-reliance skills. By making mistakes and receiving support from an adult in eliminating them each time, the child learns to cope with difficulties. Nothing is more satisfying than the happiness of knowing that "I did it myself."

In addition to self-care skills, a child is already learning to care for the environment and community at the age of three. From an early age, the Montessori School supports the independence of each child and creates the conditions for everyone to contribute to the life of the community. This experience will allow the child to be successful in the future, no matter what he does.
Will the Montessori graduate be able to study in the traditional education system?
A Montessori school graduate possesses the skills of the XXI century and is ready to continue his education in any system. The experience he gained in the Montessori class has given him the skills of decision-making, building boundaries, self-reliance and teamwork.

As an argument there is a fragment of a letter from Olga Kuzmina, coordinator of the European gymnasium:

...Several graduates from MSM have successfully entered our elementary school - the children show an excellent level of development of social skills and self-regulation, as well as academic preparation, thank you for your work!
We are ready to provide an opportunity for your graduates to enter the elementary school of the European Gymnasium in the first round (together with the graduates of our kindergarten), as well as recommend MSM to parents on the waiting list as an alternative to the kindergarten of the Gymnasium ...

        Yours faithfully,
        Olga Kuzmina
