In this program, academic skills and the development of intelligence come first. Adults assist children in organizing trips outside the classroom. Together with a mentor, children learn to plan their time in order to pay attention to all those activities that are important to them. All this contributes to establishing an objective and structured worldview and prepares each child to find his or her place in it.

Important things about our school
Let us tell you why MSM is unique and introduce you to the Montessori Method
Bilingual approach
In all of our programs we use English and Russian languages. This makes the process of learning the language natural and comfortable for every child.
We are 17 years old
We were the first in Moscow who began to work according to the international standards and cooperated with colleagues from abroad.
Seminars for parents
For example, we educate parents on how to support their child's interest in Math and how such interest can be revealed in later years.
AMI Standard
This means that our Lead Teachers are qualified professionals in the Montessori education field.
In order to work with your child, each teacher goes through 2-3 years of academic training, including teaching practice in other schools. This guarantees qualified and serious approach to each child's education.
Safety
A fire alarm in every room, staff trainings with first responders and regular evacuation trainings with the children. We are extremely serious about this.
Nutrition
In our children's menu, there are no dishes with sugar and no pork. For children who have special needs in nutrition, we develop an individual menu.
Maria Montessori
The teaching method is over 100 years old
Its principles were developed by the Italian physician and educator Maria Montessori. The method is based on a specially prepared environment, distinctive learning materials, mixed-age groups, and the teacher’s careful, supportive guidance.
What is the core idea?
The child’s natural curiosity becomes the main motivation for learning. Rather than simply completing tasks at an adult’s direction, the child learns to choose activities independently, stay focused, and see them through to completion.
Do these wooden materials help children learn mathematics?
Yes.
Each material is designed to help the child independently discover one specific mathematical concept. They are intentionally made of wood and use calm, natural colors, helping the child focus on understanding rather than bright visual stimulation.
