Initial Physics and Electronics
The other day Makar brought to school a set called "Expert". The set is on elementary physics and the first steps in electronics. We decided to make two groups of interested children and began to explore. It turned out that many of the children in the class have such a box, but everyone collected diagrams only by looking at the pictures and being not aware of principles of work.

We took pieces of paper, someone took notebooks for this activity. Step by step, the children sketched the elements of the schemes and wrote down their names. We figured out what a reed switch was, what a button and a switch were, talked about the differences between them. We disassembled safety rules when working with electricity. After that the children started assembling.

We figured out for which elements polarity is important, for which is not. We figured out what it depends on - whether the propeller takes off or just spins. Now the children can collect simple experiments, relying only on diagrams, without a picture. Also, looking at the photo, they can draw a diagram. We will soon learn what a serial and parallel connection is.
Music saves the world
Because the lessons take place next door, office staff members listen to piano lessons and hear how much the boys have improved their skills over the last few months. Almost every lesson they learn to play a new melody and master old ones. Sometimes this is music given by the teacher, sometimes it is a favourite song, that the guys love to listen to.

Middle School explorations
Land and water forms layout
This is a large Alpha class project ("Alpha" is a codename of one of the Elementary classes). Forms of water and land. Children made a wireframe layout. Then, using paper, glue and scotch tape, the relief was outlined. After that, all forms had to be made stronger and more accurate. They worked with pieces of fabric soaked in plaster, layer by layer decorating the details of the relief. After complete drying, the color scheme was made with acrylic paint.

One of the main tasks was to implement the applicability of the layout for study and visualization. The guys covered the layout with a layer of epoxy resin, which allows you to work on this layout using water. On the layout there are islands and fjords, lagoons and bays, bays, straits, a spit and the open sea!
Work in Toddler Community
What is a Toddler class? This is a homelike environment, a place where it is cozy, interesting, friendly, a place where you are welcomed every day! In January, Julia Kondrakova returned to work. Adaptation to the new teacher was successful and the calm concentrated activity of children serves as proof of this. This week, the children were very interested in trying on clothes, shoes and hats.
A joint project of the art studio and the laboratory is the Parthenon model - art history studied in practice! The work was planned for five older children, but as a result, almost all children from two classes joined. And now the goal is achieved! See on the short video the birth of the Parthenon.
Physical Development
Finally, true physical education classes appeared at MSM! The classes are held by Yana Lyakhovich, taekwondo and fitness trainer, for Elementary and Middle School children. During a walk in the stadium, children warm up, perform various exercises in a game form, participate in relay races, and play football. Children admit that they have long been waiting for such activity and are engaged with diligence and attention!

Chinese New Year in Casa Dei Bambini
Casa Dei Bambini children celebrated Chinese New Year! Children learned how to write hieroglyphs, practiced in handling chopsticks, sang a song about a dragon, watched a video about a lion dance and found out why Chinese people wear red to celebrate New Year.
Training Evacuation
On January, 29th a training evacuation took place at MSM. The last one was in October and now we reapeat all over again the evacuation technology so that children learn to remain calm and concentrate on adult directions. The total average evacuation time for all programs (Toddler, Casa, Elementary and Middle School) is 50 seconds.
